A. In Twenty Years at Hull-House, Jane Addams tells of the poverty and abuses that existed during the Industrial Revolution in the United States. The book includes eighteen chapters, illustrations, an index, and photographs. Addams begins with some personal background. She was a sickly child, and she was greatly influenced by her wealthy father, a strong admirer and supporter of Abraham Lincoln. Addams attended all-female Rockford College and left there determined to study medicine and help the poor. Her ill health returned, however, and she was unable to complete her medical studies. HELP PLEASE i'm having problems getting proof i finish 12 grade, mom lost my diploma?
Q. My job is doing a back round check on me and was not able to get my high school diploma , now i went to my school to get something saying i graduated, now my high school is saying my record is stamped i graduated but not sign and there is nothing they can do for me, i did finish school in the summer of 91, i was given a diploma. what can i do , my job depends on it, i called the school spoke to principal, ect no one can help. the school is jane adams hs in the bronx do u think the board of education can help the school is saying i did not finish school because the principle did not sign some document, it was stamped but not sign, and now the r saying i did not pass a social studies rca. they can not find a passing grade for a social… [cont.]

A. Years ago I had to show proof of graduation for a job, and at the time we thought my diploma was lost. I was able to get a full transcript from my high school, though, which showed that I completed the required number of credits for graduation. The job gladly accepted the transcript - maybe your job will as well if you can get a copy of your transcript. If this doesn't work, you may indeed have to contact the Board of Education for your state. I'm sure they could help get you what you need. Add: What is an rca test? Is this something that is required for graduation in your state?
